We are looking for an EXPERIENCED leather sewer 1-2 days a week for production sewing of leather and canvas accessories here at our studio.
-have experience sewing leather goods on an industrial walking foot/needle feed machine* (we currently use an industrial Consew needle feed for all of our leather and canvas sewing.)
-are extremely detail oriented in your work while working at a good pace .
-are good communicator, open to constructive feedback and not afraid to ask questions
-have photo samples or samples that you can bring in person to demonstrate your skill level.
-can commit to showing up on time and stick to a schedule once it's set.
-a very small, woman owned and run company working in an intimate space.
-laid back yet serious about our work. We like to listen to music or podcasts while working and like to keep things upbeat while being productive.
-we are a small studio with a show room that is open to the public so we try to keep the space tidy and presentable.
-flexible about finding a schedule that works for both of us.
-easily accessible by bus.

*sorry, hand sewn leather workers need not apply. We sew everything by machine.
